Anti-Fog
How To: Stop Interior Fog & Steam
There is nothing more frustrating (or dangerous) than a fogged-up windscreen on a cold morning. Bar’s Bugs Anti-Fog creates an invisible, micro-thin layer that prevents moisture from sticking to your glass, keeping your vision crystal clear in all conditions.
Where to use it:
- Automotive: Interior windscreens and side windows.
- Helmets: Great for motorcycle visors and racing helmets.
- At Home: Perfect for bathroom mirrors and glass shower doors.
- Marine: Boat windscreens and cabin windows.
3 STEPS TO A FOG-FREE VIEW
1. Start with Clean Glass: Ensure the interior of your windscreen or mirror is completely clean and dry before applying. Any existing grime can cause streaks.
2. Apply the Coating: Spray Anti-Fog directly onto a clean microfibre cloth. Wipe the product evenly across the entire interior surface. Leave it to dry for 2 minutes. This allows the anti-fog barrier to "set."
3. Lightly Buff: After 2 minutes, lightly buff the surface with a clean cloth for a streak-free finish. Important Note: Don't over-buff! If you polish too hard, you’ll remove the anti-fog coating you just applied. Only continue buffing if persistent streaks remain.
- Avoid Direct Spray: Always spray onto the cloth rather than the glass to prevent overspray from landing on your dashboard or trim.
- Maintenance: Re-apply as required. During high-humidity seasons or winter months, you may need to apply more frequently to maintain the fog-free effect.
- Microfibre is Key: Use a high-quality, short-pile microfibre cloth to ensure an even application without leaving lint behind.
